A coatings plant runs hot around the clock and can’t risk a battery that burns.

Sealant and coatings plants run continuous process heat and mixing loads on sites already full of flammable material, where energy cost is high and fire-safe siting is non-negotiable
High energy cost on a site that cannot tolerate fire
Making adhesives, sealants, coatings and foams is energy-intensive and continuous: heated reactors and mixers, extrusion and curing, ventilation and packing lines running around the clock. Power is a major cost, and the load carries both a steady base and sharp peaks from heavy motors starting. At the same time the site stores solvents and combustible product in bulk, so anything added to it is judged first on fire risk. That rules out the obvious cost-saving tool a large battery because a conventional lithium installation brings exactly the hazard the plant works hardest to keep out.
Cut the energy cost without importing a fire risk
On-site storage lowers cost the same way it does anywhere: storing cheap or self-generated power, shaving the demand peaks that set the tariff, and backing critical process loads through a grid disturbance that would otherwise ruin a batch. The question on a site like this is never whether storage helps it is whether the storage itself is safe to stand next to a solvent store. With the right chemistry, it is.
Why 247 Energy
247 Energy’s supercapacitor storage is non-flammable and free of thermal runaway no fire to propagate to what is stored around it with wide temperature tolerance for a hot plant for daily peak-shaving. It does the cost work of a battery without the hazard a flammable site cannot accept. European-built, containerised, with in-house control software to protect critical loads.
